Patricia Villamor is PhD in pedagogy from the Complutense University of Madrid. Since 2004 she works as Professor at the Faculty of Educacion of the Complutense University of Madrid. He has been “visiting scholar” in foreign universities including the Faculty of education, Queen’s University (Ontario, Canada), and the School of Education, Department of Administration, Training and Policy Studies from Boston University, in the State of Massachusetts (USA). She is researcher in the Research Group of the Complutense University of Madrid, “Culture, civic and political education”. She has participated in several research projects with public and private funding, about education policy in the community of Madrid, the school choice and management of leadership in schools. Her research focuses on Education Policy and the comparative analysis of international education policies, and more concretely on policies of privatization and funding of the education system, leadership studies in education from the perspective of gender and Teacher training policies, topics on which she has published several articles, especially focused on the international comparison of educational policies.Patricia Villamor is PhD in pedagogy from the Complutense University of Madrid.
